for a Business Development Director in Massachusetts.
Our ideal candidate will be located in M.A. and largely responsible for selling Revenue Cycle services and software solutions.

Must have a minimum of 5+ years of increasing sales experience including direct selling within the healthcare industry, preferably at the hospital provider C-level.

Knowledge of revenue cycle operations, Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement and clinical services including compliance is required.

Must be proficient with MS Office;

Working knowledge of ACT and/or other Sales Performance Tracking software;

Opportunity Summary:
Besler Consulting a leading industry financial health care consulting firm has a dynamic job opportunity for a Medicare Biller. The Medicare Billing Specialist ensures that all Medicare billing is properly adjusted/billed for and collected. The Billing Specialist is the key individual for Medicare contact, including claim submission, adjustments, RTP correction and follow up,denial re-processing, and fiscal intermediary claim resolution issues:
- Manages the adjustment/billing of Medicare for claims identified as underpaid.
- Proficient with Medicare DDE/FSS system including the claims inquiry menu, manual claim entry, claim adjustment and RTP (Return to Provider) claims correction.
- Retrieves and posts the payment amounts to their appropriate client sheets/excel spreadsheets
- Performs Medicare eligibility checks as needed through IVR (Interactive voice response).
- Identify and review the RTP (Return to Provider) file for multiple providers in multiple MAC Jurisdictions.
- Corrects all claims in the provider’s RTP file based on the corresponding edit applied by the fiscal intermediary
- Reviews client reports to identify accounts pending adjustment and payments.
- Maximize cash collections in accordance with training provided, including reviewing and resubmitting previously denied claims as necessary.
- Consult with Manager regarding problematic claims as needed.
- Identify balances that are un-collectable for denied claims.
- Responsible for phone calls to the Medicare Fiscal Intermediaries to discuss unresolved claims.
Skills:
- Working knowledge of Medicare program rules.
- Hospital acute care experience.
- Detail-oriented and analytical.
- Proficiency with Excel and Word.
- Ability to multi-task.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of Medicare Inpatient specific claim billing
